The responsibilities for a Service Center Technician include repairing, recharging, and cleaning batteries and preparing them for shipment. This individual may occasionally drive a truck to transport materials to and from specified destinations and travel to customer’s facilities to neutralize, clean, and repair batteries. This core service position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, industry related experience and/or training, good math skills, and the ability to carry out instructions. - analyzing market and delivery conditions to determine material availability and pricing
- exploring new programs for continuous improvements in material and process changes

The qualified candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Materials Management or Purchasing; 3 to 5 years experience as a purchasing professional; negotiation, planning, and analytical skills; and be highly motivated and committed to professional standards and performance.
